Even as a youngster, I wondered about how to get a six pack. I remember one day when I was little, my brother and I were playing. I was probably 10 or 11 and he was 3 or 4. We were wrestling and fighting in the living room when we both knew we weren't allowed to. At one point my brother threw off his shirt in order to let the entire world know just how tough he was. He stood there in his superhero pose, confident of his impending victory over his older brother.
As he stood there, I suddenly realize that this little kid had a 4-pack! I touched my stomach and there was absolutely no muscle definition to be felt. None. My little brother who was barely taller than the dining room table had better abs than I did. I was shocked!

So began my quest to build my six pack. While it definitely wasn't one of my greatest moments (after all, I was jealous of a 4 year old) it did get me interested in improving my body.
Through the years I tried everything imaginable short of pills and dieting. I did crunches, I did sit-up, I even including some exercises I saw on "Rocky". By the time I was 14, I had developed an ab workout regimen that would make most people cry. And from that came the Almighty Six Pack.
You Can Have a Six Pack, Too!
From my obsession with my abs, I came to realize that most methods touted on TV and by the fitness gurus are trash. Here is the truth - gadgets and pills don't work. I know you want to believe they do. Who wouldn't want to pop a pill and have a great body? Don't waste your money because I am about to tell you the secret of how to get a six pack.
Develop the muscle. Trim the fat.
That's it. ‘Nuff said. Go get your six pack.
No, I'm not going to leave you hanging like that. You are probably wondering, "How?" That is the real question, isn't it? Let's start with developing the muscles. You already know some of the exercises - the crunches and other ab-targeting techniques. Keep doing those because they will give you muscle development. Be aware, though, that some ab exercises are more effective than others.
To trim the fat, the best method is to invest in your metabolism. It is just like putting money into an investment and letting that investment pay you. You don't have to work for the money the investment pays out, you just have to collect it. The same is true with your metabolism. If you invest in building its speed, your metabolism will burn fat for you - even when you aren't working out! Once you have invested in your metabolism and developed your abs, you six pack will shine in all of its glory.
Beyond How to Get a Six Pack - Enter the "Russian Girdle"
The Russian Girdle is the term given to the entire abdominal wall when it is fully developed. From my understanding it came from the Russian olympic atheletes whose midsections were developed beyond merely having a six pack.
When you have a Russian Girdle you will look like a comic book character. To see a real person who had one, look at pictures of Bruce Lee toward the end of his life.
The exercise below is called the Russian Twist. It works the entire abdominal wall and will move you closer to having a girdle of own.

wow, this is much easier and less tiring than sit-ups and crunches and is way more tiring. i can feel the burn after doing 20-25 while holding my backpack.

THIS SEEMS A LOT EASIER BUT IT REALLY GET'S ABDOMINAL AREA WORKING AFTER JUST A FEW, WHICH SHOWS IT'S WORKING.

Im 12 years old and i have been doing this for 5 weeks and i have developed lower abs and upper abs. If you dont have a bench press then sit on your couch lay down and if you have a dumbell it helps, now girls feen to touch my abs. Hope this helps

It will not work say if you are still growing or you have just enterd Puberty if your 13 or 12 then your still growing wait till you 15 or 16 then it will take 3 weeks and then you will have your six pack

I am a 13 yr old chick. Nd I got a sweet 6 pack from doing 10,000 leg raises per day and doing the bicicle and toward the end some of these things. I do them with a 25 lbs. weight and they hurt like u can feel the burn and my friend nd I get a modleing job and she needed to get abs so I told her to do these nd she got a 6 pack in like a week! How long do u exercise per day?
I am 13 an I would love a 6 pack. I have done this excercise on my couch (I don't have anything else to do it on) and I don't feel anything, not a burn at all. I would go to the gym, if we had 1. I don't know if t actually works on the couch arm chair thing, I have tried it. I don' know if i'm not doing it right, can someone tell me how to do it right, or give me some more examples of exercises, thanks
try doing sit ups for three min make sure that your feet are as close to your but as possible

Well you can do it by doing the plank for 1 min in the morning and evergreen add 30 secs then it will be easier and next thing you know glyph will have a rock hard six pack( lazy way : start by doing the plank as long ad you can and time it then redo it until it's very easy and after add 1 min until it's easy and just add 1 min when it gets easy) also ou won't get a six pack in only a week. It doesn't appear magically out of nowhere you gotta work hard for it don't take steroids you will loose 20 years of your life or even an extra 10 years if you get caught and go to jail. Well if you try my way and it works don't thank me, thank urselfs for all your hard work. But this guys technique works very well for like 10 year olds I tried it when I was 10 and I had a 6-pack but then I started puberty and started eating slot during my growth spirth and lost it so then I worked my ass of by doing the plank and if you have the time try doing atleast 500 set-ups per week (7 days) and if you need a photo ills send you one of proof oh and puberty didn't come till I was 12 btw so yeah I finished my grouthnspirt at 15 and ya I'm 6"2 and I have a eight pack so yeah don't think I'm a list cuz I. Play hockey for midget AAA and I'm the star player so that kinda helps me out. Well yu can try his way or my way which ever you think is best and I am answering all you dumbasses that don't read how to get a 6-pack even if it 10 or older so go start working out and please post urbresult o this site to show this man what he did and how he helped you. I am 12. Years old I just started puberty about a year ago haven't hit a groth spurt yet I am short so don't think only tall people can get abs I have been working out for three months about three to four weeks ago I first heard about russian twists they are simply amazing for you abs, but it is just for your abs if you don't have a bench you do not I repeat do not need one just do them on you carpet with your feet under a chair use a ball of any size or kind you could use weights but it really isn't needed do about 25-50-100 sit ups a day and work your way up to this one try for 1-2 min. Of planks I have been working out for three months but I only had a four pack and a light one at that untill I invited russian twists to my workout routine now I can see my six-pack coming along as if it were magic this helps but do planks and crunches/situps everyday for a month to two month's and you will have great abs and one trick that is extremely simple to help lose fat on you stomach is to eat a large breakfast a median large lunch and drink 1-2 medium large glasses of water only water before you eat dinner try to have a fruit or vegtable snack every 1-2 hours and be confident in yourself you will get great abs if you want to see your progress more clearly go in front of a mirror lean back and flex your ab muscles you should see your abs coming together and at a quick speed

-20 sit ups
-10 push ups
-20 squats
-20 crunches
-25 Russian twists on a stool
Repeated 5 times
Is this all okay I'd go for a 4-6km run if it was not raining so much!
This routine isn't working though I don't have much that I can say are abs. I can feel them but I tried to get rid of the fat layer by doing wiifit, Zumba on youTube and walking around at school.

Im twelve and I've had a four pack for almost two years now. My four pack came out of nowhere. I thought it was pretty cool so I wanted to keep it. So I worked out everyday for almost two years. I drank lots of water, cjise healthy food choices, two hundred sit ups a day (100 in the morning and 100 at night) and 100 leg raises a day. Right now I have a really well toned and clear 5 pack. I want a six pack but I can't get anywhere past a five pack. What else should I add to my daily routine?

14 teen year old right here, for the past 2 weeks ive been on spring break, with a mission, to get a six pack. and also in time for lacrosse season so i decided to take runs. for the last 12 days i have ran approximately 3-5 miles a day. and i have seen a diference. Before, i was just around 5'7 and around 130-135 pounds with no six pack, but still had muscle there. and i didnt care, i ate the foods i want and still remained there. after running everday the muscle has increased tremendously. No six pack, although when im doing a work out like crunches or if i look at my stomach while running i can see a six pack. you dont necessarily have to do the same ab exercise everyday. i suggest you run everyday because its the best way of burning fat, and if your an over achiever, balance it with some ab work outs, i suggest deck of cards. which is you take a deck of cards, and depending on the what the suite of card it is, is a different kind of work out, so you have 4 ab exercises, you shuffle the deck, pull out the card and the number means the amount of that exercise. also a protein shake everyday after your workout isnt bad, but it isnt nesesary, and eating, before you exercise drink at least 2-3 cups of water, and eat a sandwich, whether it be peanut butter or turkey or tunafish or you could eat some pasta. wait around 30 minutes to an hour to digest, then your good for the workout. and if you dont see results, big deal, just keep working at it, dont give up. thanks for reading, i hoped i helped, not get your butt off the computer and start doing some crunches!!!!!
Again, it depends on your age too, some 10 years olds are more developed or have a better metabolism then others, so dont sweet it if it seems like your stuck, just be persistant. and dont give up.

In the morning I do 100 sit ups, plank for 1 min, and 20 push ups and at night I do the same. It actually works. I have a six pack. if you want abs and live in mar vista CA then come to the pool and sign up for all the classes. The instructors work you and you can make new friends. I did swim team diving and water polo and I had rock hard abs a the end of the summer.
